Zimbabwe is known to most people because of the magnificent Victoria Falls – depending on how you measure it the largest waterfalls in the world. The town of Victoria Falls offers all kinds of fun and adventure: white water rafting, bungi jumping, micro-lighting, horse-back riding, and even drinking and partying (unfortunately, I don’t have pictures of the white water rafting). Zimbabwe also has gameparks, the most extensive stone ruins of pre-colonial Sub-Saharan Africa, and the beauty of Lake Kariba.
As mentioned above, Zimbabwe is the country where I did the 111-meter high Bungi jump:

One of the most impressive stone monuments in Sub-Saharan Africa: Great Zimbabwe (frankly, it doesn’t quite compare with Egyptian, Mayan, Incan, Chinese, Indonesian ruins…). This is where the country gets its name from.
