Welcome to Berg Lake

This part of the website contains pictures from my hiking trip together with Betty, Kate and Bruce to Berg Lake July 31- August 4, 2000.  Berg Lake is a glacier lake up in the Rocky Mountains in Mount Robson Provincial Park in British Columbia, Canada.  The trailhead is about an hour’s drive west of Jasper, which is about 4 hours west of Edmonton, Alberta.

We walked up from the trailhead to the lake during the first day (about 22 km), and camped besides the lake for the next four days. We did day-hikes the next three days, and walked back down on day 5. I have tried to organize the pictures chronologically, so you can navigate easily using the buttons at the top. I have also added a map of the area on a separate page, so you can see where we were and where we walked. There you will also find a popular description of the hike. Lastly, there is a separate page with a 360-degree panorama picture.

Thanks to Bruce for supplying a major part of the pictures on this site.
