Camp life
Here are some scenes of everyday camp life.
Our first campfire; Volodja’s first attempt at catching some fish.
Sveta having lunch; preparing food.
Sasha never stopped making photographs; Volodja never stopped fishing:
The fish heads were used for fish soup (the rest was for frying or sushi); We picked and ate fresh mushrooms every day.
Chopping wood was a daily occurrence…
Drying clothes was a frequent occurrence…
On two occasions we built a “banya”: a Russian steam bath. On the left you see a pyramid of stones covered by burning wood. After some 8 hours, when the stones are really hot, you erect an enclosure around it. Go inside, pour water on the stones, and presto: a steam bath!
Loooooooove the water!
Just taking a break…
